Vidyadayini School History




Sri Durugoji Gopala Rao Educational and Charitable Trust (R) started Vidyadayini School, in K.R.Nagar Extension of Harihar town in the year 2003. Housed in 4.5 acre land in a serene , pollution free, safe location, the school aims at becoming an institution known for excellent education. The school has a well established building, lush green park, play ground, water facility, small but pretty swimming pool, well-furnished class rooms, library, an imposing stage, computer and science labs. School has recently added Close Circuit (CC) Cameras in the class rooms for centralized control and HCL based Smart Class, an electronic aided learning facility. School management is planning to add feasible innovative facilities in phases, in future. For example the school annexed a mini zoo including rabbits, lovebirds, swans, turkeys, ducks, hens, tortoises etc., Also it has boarding and lodging facility.

The school has well defined objectives and values ( see our Mission Statement). It follows CBSE syllabus and uses teaching procedures improvised by NCERT. Every program is planned and executed keeping in view the all-round development of children. The school has presently I to X standards. The first batch of Tenth standard students appeared for Board Examination in the year 2008 - 09 and has consistently shown cent percent results in the following years.
