‘Swimming Pool’

Kids up to III standard enjoy this facility and try to learn swimming under the care and guidance of trained teacher.

‘Sports ’

A healthy mind in healthy body : Physical education and health of students is given equal importance as academics. A well maintained play ground, all necessary sports infrastructure and varieties of Indoor and Outdoor sports and games such as volleyball, table tennis, football, cricket and athletics are the highlights of this important field. Qualified and experienced PE staff dedicated to the job are in charge. Students are encouraged to participate in all the inter school sports competitions held at Taluka, District and Zonal levels. Even as the school has just emerged into full fledged higher-secondary institution, our young children have brought laurels to the school from zonal level competitions.

‘Multifaceted Development ’

Students are encouraged to learn varieties of co-curricular activities such as conversation and communication, debating, quiz, games, drama, mime, singing, dance, music, drawing, 'Do it yourself' (modeling, display charts etc.), news reading, general knowledge and so on. They are provided with ample opportunities to participate in the inter house, intra-school, inter-school competitions conducted from time to time and exhibit their talents in Special Assemblies and Quiz Competitions conducted every week, National Festival Celebrations and the Annual Day Celebration as well as Arts and Science Exhibition.

Exposure to these activities helps the students not only to become academically adept but also socially skilled and they learn the all round human traits such as co-operation, leadership, creativity, self confidence and gives them global awareness of current affairs.

‘Residential Facilities ’

The hostel dormitories are spacious, well-lit and well ventilated. Adequately furnished baths and toilets are provided. Hot water is supplied for bath. Each child is provided with single cot, study table, table lamp and a closet. Cleanliness and neatness is emphasized in the rooms, kitchen, dining hall, toilets and the premises. Utmost importance is given for cleanliness and orderliness of food at every stage from storage, preparation, cooking, catering to tail end processes.

For every ten children a resident teacher for taking care of academics, assignments, writing skills and areas of learning , and a caretaker for taking personal care are provided. The wardens take overall care of the health, food , sanitary and other requirements of their wards.

A day's activities are evenly distributed for study, exercises, games, reading, entertainment, prayer and the like.

The school playground and sports facilities are available for the wards to spend their leisure hours playing under the watchful and affectionate care of the physical trainers. Discipline at every movement and activity is emphasised.

Curricular and moral education and other routines apart, children get ample opportunities for working in teams, learning leadership and similar virtues by participating in birthday celebrations, annual festivals, excursions to places of historical, cultural and industrial importance.

‘Transport Facilities ’

In order to facilitate the students staying in Harihar town and its neighboring villages/towns far away from the school, transportation facilities is made available.
